That's a pretty good summary I'd say, but if you're interested in my background, be advised that this may bore you.
I've been in telecommunications and networking for over 14 years now. I am in the process of transitioning to a new job as a Network Architect at a State University Hospital where I live. For the past couple of years I have been teaching Cisco, but have dove into other vendors' equipment in an effort to become more well rounded. Virtualization is another love of mine with my flavor of choice being VMware. I love to build network and see how they work. I enjoy security and like to dabble but my first true love will always be the network.
I've recently become completely enthralled with Software Defined Networking...as you will learn if you read the blog. I did a talk at Shmoocon with a research partner of mine and will add a link to it once it's available.
The blog...why now? Well I guess because I love what I do. I love teaching. I love debate. I love this stuff. This is my platform to provide information and hopefully learn a little while I'm at it.
